Pastor Doug's Thought For Today 5/12
| Good Morning, The week is speeding along. I was here early but had to be at a meeting before I could get this out. MDO is in session this morning so lots of kids and parents in the halls. We did get a short 3 miles in this morning, and it is making my knee more functional. This will not replace surgery, but it helps with the discomfort. We were surprised the cabinet men showed early and the cabinet is installed. Carol is now going to repaint all the cabinets making things look brand new with the new dishwasher and stove. Jess is running an infirmary in Columbia. Abe has a high ankle sprain and is in a boot. They found out following and MRI that Jackson has a pelvic fracture and he is on crutches. They are both injuries that will totally heal, so now it is a matter of time. The weather is heating up and we are headed to the 90's tomorrow. The weather is perfect today so enjoy! | I am blessed. My wife has a deep and abiding faith, and she is beautiful and charming. I clearly married up. In Proverbs we see the value of character. Culture has been intent on defining physical beauty and the definition of beauty over time. Character is something that stands the test of time. Faith is a quality to be praised.
