Pastor Doug's Thought For Today 4/15
| Good Morning, A little chilly this morning, but it will be a great day. Carol and I found Shaun early this morning to cheer him on as he completed a 1000 day running streak. I have not given up on running, but the knee has to be repaired first. I hope you are planning on connecting with Ashland this week. Maundy Thursday is come and go from 6:00 to8:00 in the sanctuary where I will be serving communion. Good Friday Service will be at 6:00 on Friday. Tonight, Carol and I will attend the SJSD Foundation Banquet at MWSU honoring educators in our District. I hope you have a great Tuesday! Blessings, Doug PS: Order your flowers today!! Today's Thought
| We declare with our mouth Jesus is Lord, but it doesn't stop there. It is easy to say something, but it is different to actually live a life that reflects it. Paul goes on to say that in our heart we must believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. When we have this commitment to the truth of God we are given the power of the Spirit to really live. Life is found not in what we say, but in what we do. Just a thought for today! |
