Pastor Doug's Thought For Today 3/17

Good Morning!
I hope you had a nice weekend. It was cool and windy, but Sunday we had lots of sun. Today we move back to the 70's. I did get some yard work accomplished Saturday morning. The wind brought down lots of sticks, so I gather them and burned them in our chiminea. I was able to rake some leaves out of the shrubs and mulch them with the tractor, but many replaced them in night. No school this week, but we will have MidWeek@Ashland as we have missed half of them due to weather. Hope you have a great week!
Blessings, Doug

Today's Scripture

Psalm 23:1-3 (New International Version)
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.

Today's Thought

How many times have you heard this verse? I think I have said this verse more than any other. It is a rare funeral that I don't say these words. I have probably said it around 1000 times. The point is do you listen to it? David is talking about a real-life experience for him. It speaks of his trust and comfort in God's presence. Do you feel that? Just a thought for today!
