Pastor Doug's Thought For Today 2/18

Good Morning,
It is a cold and snowy day in St. Joseph. The schools are closed as are many businesses. I am at the office, but the parking lot and drives are untouched. I have opened the Ashland door in the event the mail comes, but I doubt that will happen today. I was notified trash service is suspended until next week. I am not hopeful about have MidWeek@Ashland tomorrow, but we shall have to wait and see. Please keep my dad in your prayers, he has been dealing with more health issues. Today stay warm and safe and we shall see what tomorrow brings.
Blessings,
Doug

Today's Scripture

Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Today's Thought

This is an important issue in our relationship with God. We want to put our own actions into the equation, but it isn't about us, it is about God. God will go to any length to connect with us. It doesn't matter what we have done, God still loves us. Don't allow yourself to feel unworthy and thus not receive the love and grace of God. Just a though for today!
