Pastor Doug's Thought For Today 4/29

Good Morning,

I made it home in time to mow my front yard last night.  It is really growing right now.  We are prepping for Youth Sunday this Sunday at Ashland.  I am excited about what our kids will bring to us Sunday.  Pete is coming up Wednesday evening to help me install our new stove.  Carol has always wanted a gas stove and so I found one that fits the bill.  It will take some alteration to make it fit, but Pete and I can get it done.  Thursday is National Day of Prayer; we will have the Sanctuary open for you to come and pray anytime during the day.  We invite you to come and lift up some prayer.  Have a great day!

Blessings, Doug

PS:  Order your flowers today!! Order your flowers today!! Order your flowers today!!                                                            We have lots of flowers still!

Today's Scripture

Job 19:25 (King James Version)
For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

Today's Thought

I love these words from Job.  I know that my redeemer liveth.  What a powerful witness.  If you are familiar with Job you know that he experienced some extreme trials in his life.  The great part of Job's story is his ever-faithful trust in God.  God is always faithful to us.  May we always have trust in him.   Just a thought for today!

This was a timely message that I needed to be reminded of today. I’m learning to not only to have faith and trust IN God, but to have faith and trust ON God as I go through life’s transitions. Thank you for your message.
