Pastor Doug's Thought For Today 3/25

Good Morning,
Monday was a crazy day. I spent 4 hours on Zoom and them made a mad dash to Lees Summit for a meeting. I was able to say hi to Carol before leaving St. Joseph. It is so good to have her home. I ended the day with mom and dad. I hope we are in for a spell of good health for them. Thanks for your prayers they were doing as well as I have seen them in a while. I play catch up for couple days and then off to Columbia for meetings on Thursday and Friday, then back for Nancy Lumb's funeral on Saturday. It is all good, I love what God has called me to do, I look forward to each day. I hope you have a great day!
Blessings Doug

Today's Scripture

1 John 1:9 (New International Version)
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Today's Thought

Confession is good for the soul. God wants to forgive us, but we must ask; in fact, we must have remorse. This isn't to make us feel bad but to be sorry for our sin. God is glad to lift the weight from us when we seek Him. Just a thought for today!
