Pastor Doug's Thought For Today 4/3

Good Morning,

I will be changing the format for delivery next week. The email will not look the same, but click on the link, and you will receive the new message

We wrapped up MidWeek@Ashland last night with a great meal and a great crowd! The week is drawing to a close, and we have accomplished a lot, even if it is hard to see it. April showers bring May flowers; I am counting on that. The trees and bushes have been lovely, I do enjoy spring. I have an itch to turn some dirt, as in field work with a tractor, but that isn't the way it is done today. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Today's Scripture

Hebrews 12:2
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Today's Thought

Things are not always what they appear. It looked as if Jesus had been defeated. He had died the most humbling death, but what was to come? He would rise from the grave to sit at the right hand of the throne, and we would have new life. Don't get caught up in circumstance; keep your eye on Jesus. Just a thought for today!
