Pastor Doug's Thought for Today March 19

Good Morning,
Happy Birthday Carol Walter!  We started the day with a trip to the Parkway.  She has been running her years in miles on her birthday, but we decided to not do that today.  We have lunch planned at Tomo, but her real dinner is planned for next week.  Tonight she has PEO and her last meeting as President.  I think she is ready to pass the baton.  Are you ready for some really warm weather?  The next three days will be crazy warm for this time of year.  Get out and enjoy!   Have a nice day!

Blessings, Doug

Don't forget this Sunday from 3:00 to 4:30 is the Eggstravaganza.  If you have not registered, please do so.  If not don't panic, we will make room for you.  There is no cost to t his event.

Today's Scripture

Galatians 5:22-23 (New International Version)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Today's Thought

Faith is evidenced by our fruit.  A person can claim Jesus, but with no fruit it is mere lip service.  The focus of living should be fruitfulness.  Spend time with Jesus and our life will bear much fruit.  Just a thought for today!
