Pastor Doug's Thought for Today April 10

Good Morning,
We had a little rain in St. Joseph overnight, but not what I expected.  We had 1/2 inch and could really use more.  Friday is filled with putting the final touches on Sunday and hopefully home after lunch.  Carol is off to CoMo this afternoon for the KD reunion.  I have a funeral tomorrow and lots of projects to work on.   l hope you enjoy the weekend and as always connect with Ashland!

We have Easter Lilies that you may have if you come to the Ashland door and pick them up.  Please come and take one or more.

Blessings, Doug

Today's Scripture

Romans 5:6-8 (New International Version)
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Today's Thought

I am very thankful that. Christ died for me, but it is a lot to understand.  This is a love beyond human comprehension.  I hope we can return our love to Him by doing the things he asked us to do.   Just a thought for today!
