Pastor Doug's Thought for Today April 9

Good Morning,
What a great morning as we hit the Parkway.   We were able to run 1.75 miles, this is the most distance since my knee surgery.  This week is coming to an end very quickly.  Carol is headed to Columbia tomorrow for a sorority reunion at her sorority KD.  Rain is coming and we can use it.  Carol is mowing today, I am thankful for her help with this big job. l hope you get out and enjoy a beautiful day today!

We have Easter Lilies that you may have if you come to the Ashland door and pick them up.  Please come and take one or more.

Blessings, Doug

Today's Scripture

Hebrews 1:3 (New International Version)
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

Today's Thought

Jesus is the radiance of God's glory.  God came to earth to share with us in the life of Jesus to forgive us our sin.  Hebrews tells us that following the resurrection he returned to heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father.  May we rejoice in the love of God.  Just a thought for today!
