Pastor Doug's Thought For Today 7/11

Good Morning,

Carol is making headway in the Poison Oak battle.  Thank you for your prayers. We are off to COMO today to pick up Ingram for VBS.  He is really excited to be an only child for a week.  Construction is going well; it is exciting to watch.  A big shoutout to our volunteers Vince and Ed for helping out with electrical.  (Vince is a retired, but licensed electrician) Rick Akers company is doing a great job with the project under his watchful eye.  It is such a great improvement.  I want to encourage you to connect with Ashland this Sunday and of course Sunday evening we have VBS.  I hope you have a great day!

Blessings, Doug

Today's Scripture

Jeremiah 32:17 (New International Version)
“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.

Today's Thought

There is nothing for difficult for God. I must confess I know this and have at times shied away from seeking God's help. Why might you ask?  I have this fear that God would say no.  That is what my good friend would call "stinking thinking".  This isn't my call.  God wants me to be open and honest.  God knows what I need and what I am going through.  I hope this honesty encourages you to always trust and seek God's help.  God can do anything.   Just a thought for today!
