Pastor Doug's Thought For Today 6/12

Good Morning,

It is another beautiful morning in St. Joseph.  Carol and I knocked out 3.5 miles to start the day. I was able to get the yard mowed last night and hopefully I can trim up tonight.  It was a busy day yesterday.  I had a tooth extracted without incident, it actually feels better today.  The staff is serving Open Door Food Kitchen Saturday.  If you would have an interest in helping, please let me know.  MDO today and we have the state inspection.  Yes, crazy day at Ashland.  Kirby wedding Saturday and Wandfluh funeral on Monday.  We are celebrating life in all phases at Ashland.  Have a great day and enjoy the weather.

Blessings, Doug

Today's Scripture

Psalm 19:1-2 (New International Version)
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.

Today's Thought

The mornings remind me of this as we get out and about. David has such a powerful point he makes.  Look around!  The glory of God surrounds us, and God welcomes us into this life with HIm.  Take a walk and listen.  Hear the voice of God in the breeze and in the trees.  Allow the presence and peace of God to transform you.  Just a thought for today!
