Pastor Doug's Thought For Today 6/15

Good Morning,

I hope you had an enjoyable weekend!  It was busy at Ashland!  We celebrated a wedding Friday and Saturday.  The staff served the Food Kitchen Saturday morning and then provided marvelous worship Sunday morning.  Carol and I jumped in the Burb and headed to Como to celebrate Ingram's BD Sunday afternoon and we home by 9:00 pm ready for a new week.  Today is Herb Wandfluh's funeral at Ashland and Mike Friess mother's funeral will be a Meierhoffers.  The week is off to a fast start.  Today marks the one-week countdown to my knee surgery.  Ready or not here we come! I hope you have a great day and enjoy the weather.

Blessings, Doug

Today's Scripture

Psalm 103:13 (New International Version)
As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;

Today's Thought

The compassion of the Lord is incredible.  David reminds us that those that love God have a special place in the Kingdom of God.  God's love knows no bounds, but the power of connection rests with us.  When we turn to God the love of God will transform our lives. Just a thought for today!
