Pastor Doug's Thought for Today January 30

Good Morning,

It is Friday and January is coming to an end.  The temperatures are dropping again proving for another cold weekend.  Football hits pause as we prepare for the Super Bowl next weekend.  Tomorrow we say our earthly goodbyes to Joe Strobl, his services will be at Meierhoffer Funeral Home.  Mary Cornett passed away this week and her service will be at Ashland Monday.  Please keep the Svuba family in your prayers their son in Colorado died unexpectedly.  This has been a week my friends I pray next week is a better week.

Blessings, Doug

Today's Scripture

Ephesians 4:2 (New International Version)

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

Today's Thought

This is the definition of a follower of Jesus.  We are to be completely humble and gentle.  We are to be patient and bear with one another in love.  Do you think that people see that in us?  I am only asking the question. I ask the question of myself.  Do people see me as humble and gentle?  Do they find me patient and bearing with other is love.  I am sure I have work in all those areas but pray that God would work in my life to make me more like him.  Just a thought for today!
