Pastor Doug's Thought for Today December 31

Good Morning,

This is the last day of 2025.  I find it true the older you are the faster time goes by.  We are finishing up what we can today, but year end reports will have to wait until next week to complete.  I hope you have great memories from this year and have great plans for 2026.
We are going to celebrate New Year's Eve with out kids and grands.  The littles are planning to see midnight, we shall see.  Grandma and I have no plans to attempt staying awake, the new year will come awake or asleep.  Happy New Year my friends, may 2026 be filled with joy.

Blessings, Doug

Today's Scripture

Isaiah 43:16, 18-19 (New International Version)

This is what the Lord says— he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters,

Today's Thought

These verses by themselves lack the heart of the message.  This passage references the delivery of the Israelites through the Red Sea to remind them of God's faithfulness.  They are presently captive by the Babylonians and verses promise God's deliverance.  They should look forward to a new day.  Today, on the last day of 2025, we too should look forward to God's promise in 2026.   Just a thought for today!
