Pastor Doug's Thought for Today December 24

Good Morning,

Merry Christmas Eve!  We had an incredible beginning to Christmas last night.  The Christmas Eve Eve Service was everything I had hoped it would be.  Tonight is a busy night!  We have services at 4:00, 6:00, and 11:00.  Join us for a time of celebration.  The office will be closed until Sunday.  If you have needs call the office and leave a message.  We will get back to you as soon as we can.  Most of you have my cell so I can be reached.  Merry Christmas my friends!   I hope you have a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!

Blessings, Doug

Today's Scripture

Luke 2:16-20 (New International Version)

So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

Today's Thought

Seek and you will find.  Christmas reflects God's desire to connect with us.  We are welcomed home in a spectacular way at Christmas.  We should follow the example of the shepherds.  We should spread the word concerning what we have been told about this child. Just a thought for today!
