Pastor Doug's Thought for Today December 23

Good Morning,

Merry Christmas Eve Eve!  We begin our worship celebrations tonight with our first service at 6:00 pm.  I hope you connect with one of our services, they are all filled with great joy and incredible music.  Carol and I have been back on the Parkway this week.  She is feeling better and hopefully will soon be back to 100% very soon.  I wish we could have some Christmas weather, but it looks like we will be in the 60's for Christmas.  Year end is here along with Christmas. We are wrapping up our 2025 in style.  I hope you enjoy this wonderful day!

Blessings, Doug

Today's Scripture

Luke 2:11-14 (New International Version)

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

Today's Thought

We are almost at Christmas.  All roads lead home at Christmas and my prayer is you are ready to be home.  The passage today points us to home, to the town of David.  Glory to God!  Just a thought for today!
