| Good Morning, Happy Friday! We spent the day with Emma yesterday, she is growing up so fast. This afternoon we are going to see my parents and then the weekend. This may be the last Thought for the Day for a few days. My surgery is Monday morning. We need to be there at 7:30, so hopefully home by early afternoon. Here we go. I hope you will connect with Ashland this weekend as we conclude the "Everybody Need a Little Jesus" series. I want to encourage you to support Shaun in funding raising for St. Jude. Today's Thought
| Hear these words. The world, particularly our own nation gets really self-centered. We are acting like anything but a Christian nation. We are reminded in Mark that gaining the whole world and forfeiting our soul is of no value. It is time to practice the things Jesus did and taught. Love your neighbor! Forgive! Turn the other cheek! These are the ways that we gain the Kingdom. Just a thought for today! |
