Pastor Doug's Thought For Today 5/22
| Good Morning, Carol and I had a nice walk this morning. It started cool, but we quickly warmed up. I worked in the yard last night preparing for mulch. I hope tonight it get mulched and mow before the weekend. We are off to Como for Abe's graduation on Saturday. I find it hard to believe this is Memorial Day Weekend but here we are. The rain looks like it will return and we can maybe get some moisture reserve going into summer. Lots to do, best get busy. Have a great day! Blessings, Doug |

Today's Thought
| I am reminded of the saying, "just because you could does not mean you should." There are many things we can do but that doesn't give us license to do whatever we want. Scripture time and again reminds us that we should not be about self, but others. We are created in the image of God to serve. Jesus was all about servant ministry; we should be as well. Just a thought for today! |
