Pastor Doug's Thought For Today 5/14

Good Morning,

Did anyone notice I have been a calendar day off all week.  I went in and edited the correct date but to be clear today is Wednesday, May 14.  Carol and I got over 3 miles in this morning and as my knee feels better the pace is getting better.  Friday is the last MDO of the session, then a couple week break.  Today is filled with odds and ends and a little slower day than the last two.  We are headed to the 90's today with little rain in sight.  We really need some rain.  I hope get out an enjoy, the weather is perfect this morning so enjoy!

Blessings, Doug

Today's Scripture

Psalm 139:13-14 (New International Version)
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Today's Thought

It is hard to consider ourselves fearfully and wonderfully made.  We tend to focus on the things about ourselves we would like to improve or change.  The concept of being made as the perfect us makes us want to be made little more perfect.  However, we are each fearfully and wonderfully made to be the perfect us.  Try to look at yourself today through the eyes of God.  Just a thought for today!
