Pastor Doug's Thought for Today November 10

Good Morning,

It is simply cold this morning.  The plants that had survived found their end today.  Carol is planning to clean ours up tomorrow.  Tomorrow is Veterans Day and the Ashland Office will be closed.  I can be reached by cell if you need something.  We have not shipped Operation Christmas Child boxes so please bring them to us as soon as possible.  The warmer temperatures are coming back tomorrow so bundle up and wait.   I hope you have a great day!

Blessings, Doug

We have pictures from the 50+ outing to the Cronkite Museum available in the office if you would like a copy.

Today's Scripture

Job 37:5-6 (New International Version)

God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding. He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ and to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.’

Today's Thought

I think we sometimes forget the true power of God.  We fret over things and it seems beyond hope.  God can do anything.  I will grant you it doesn't always happen because we want it or the timing may be very different.  We should never give up lifting our prayers to God, for as Job reminds us God can do things beyond our understanding.  Just a thought for today!
