Julie has been creating content for Ashland's social media pages since the Spring of 2023. Previously, she served as the Communications Director for a church in St. Louis for seven years. In addition to her work at Ashland, she currently serves as the social media manager for Rogers Pharmacy's five locations, and recently completed the rebranding of the Stuber Health Center, which provides quality healthcare to low-income residents of Buchanan County. She also serves as the Communications Coordinator for the Missouri United Methodist Foundation.

Julie graduated from the University of Missouri in 2009 with a degree in Theatre Performance and a degree in Mass Communication. When not working, she is involved in the theater community as a performer and choreographer. Before graduating college, she performed in several productions with Robidoux Resident Theatre. While living in St. Louis, she performed with Act 2 Theatre, Wentzville Christian Church, St. Charles Community College, and St. Charles Christmas Traditions. She also served as the choreographer for productions at Wentzville Christian Church and O'Fallon Theatre Works. In 2017, she was honored with Arts for Life nominations in both the performing and choreography categories. Since moving back to St. Joseph, she has returned to the stage with Robidoux Resident Theatre as a performer and choreographer. Her favorite theater memory is sharing the stage with her son, Jack, in his first musical, The Music Man with RRT, in 2024.

Julie is married to Danny, who works for Rogers Pharmacy in St. Joseph. They have two children, Jack and Luke, who love being part of the Ashland Kids family!
