Pastor Doug's Thought For Today 9/29 Copy

Good Morning,
What a lovely morning on the Parkway.  I am getting around 18 miles a week in and ready to move onto walking and the elliptical.  The St. Joseph Marathon reminded me I really miss running.  Please keep my mom in your prayers.  She was admitted to the hospital yesterday in attempt to identify why she is having stomach issues.  MDO today, lots of young families will be at Ashland.  Don't forget this Sunday is Pumpkins and Pizza, this is always a great event.  We expect a ton of folks, please register so we have enough pizza for everyone.  Enjoy this beautiful day!

Blessings, Doug

Today's Scripture

Philippians 1:9-10 (New International Version)
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,

Today's Thought

I pray that your love my abound.  This passage from Philippians reminds us that love changes lives.  Today I want you to pray for people in your life.  I am aware of so many things, really difficult things people are going through right now.  You would never know by looking at them.  They appear strong and together, but they are going through some heartbreaking things.  Maybe you are in that situation.  I want to pray for you, and I invite you to pray not only for your circumstance but for an outpouring of God's healing mercy and grace.   Just a thought for today!

Praying for your mother. Praying they can find out what is going on, and then help her to feel better again.
