Ashland Kids is all about helping kids ages birth through 6th grade to grow as disciples of Jesus through programs such as Sunday School, MidWeek at Ashland, and special events throughout the year such as Vacation Bible School, Pizza and Pumpkins and Pastor’s Egg Decorating Party.

We also operate a two-day a week daycare facility called Mother’s Day Out for kids ages 1 through pre-school. Learn more about Mother’s Day out here.

Sunday School

Kids age 2 and up gather in classes with other kids their age for Bible lessons taught through songs, crafts, DVD’s, scriptures and prayer. They are taught lessons so that they know basics by the time they reach certain age levels. Nursery is available for children under 2 during worship services and Sunday School. The Sunday School hour start at 10:00 am and goes until 10:45 am every week.

Midweek @ Ashland

Ashland offers activities on Wednesday nights designed for children to learn in groups that include more than one age level. This program is much more casual and the children learn in a Vacation Bible school type setting. They learn using games and crafts. The children are encouraged to learn the daily Bible verse. They earn "Bible Bucks" for learning the verse, for attendance, bringing a friend, and exceptional behavior. Once a quarter the children go to the Bible Bucks store to "shop" for items that are on display for that month. Classes starting at 5:45 p.m. All activities are finished by 7:00 p.m.

Sonshine Storytime

On the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, preschoolers and their caregivers come together to learn about Jesus through stories, crafts and music. Storytime begins at 10 am and lasts until 11 am.
